The Series 580 Isothermal GC with Thermionic Ionization Detector (TID) can successfully be used in analyzing N/P Pesticides utilizing wide bore capillary columns. A series of calibration standards were made in concentrations ranging from 0.9 to 18 ppm containing the following N/P pesticides: phosdrin & thimet, diazinon, disulfoton, merphos, dimethoate, malathion & DEF, parathion, trithion, and ethion.
