Clarity & Clarity Lite Chromatography Data Acquisition and Processing Software

Clarity & Clarity Lite Chromatography Data Acquisition and Processing Software

Clarity is an advanced Chromatography Data Station (CDS) for data acquisition, data processing, and instrument control. Its wide range of data acquisition interfaces (A/D converters, LAN, USB, RS232) allows connection to virtually any chromatograph. Clarity comes with extensive free support from DataApex (www.dataapex.com) as well as from the growing community of users in the Clarity Forum. Unlike many large corporations, the DataApex Company is in close contact with its users.

Clarity -- Clarity is the most comprehensive of DataApex’s software. Its features included data acquisition from multiple instruments, direct controls of GC using Controls; access to advanced analyses through Extensions; and support of 21CFR Part 11. This makes Clarity suitable for laboratories with high demands on efficiency, high sample throughput and GLP standards.

Clarity Lite -- Clarity Lite is a simplified version of Clarity that provides data acquisition from one chromatograph (up to four detectors sharing a common time-base). With its reduced set of functions Clarity Lite is an inexpensive solution for a non-regulated environment. Clarity Lite can easily be upgraded to Clarity at a later date.

Clarity and Clarity Lite operates with any of the following Microsoft Windows systems (in any language): 2000, XP, Vista, 7. Each chromatography station package includes -- Clarity Software on CD, A/D converter for analog data acquisition (external USB), Hardware Key (on dongle), manuals (in English), and cables.
  • Currently, 4 System Configurations to select from:
    • 70-CLA-1........ Clarity Lite for One Instrument with one detector.
    • 70-CLA-2 ....... Clarity Lite for One Instrument with two detectors
    • 70-CLA-3 ....... Clarity for Two Instruments with one detector each

DACS Chromatography Software

DACS Chromatography Software DACS emulates what one would get from a typical strip chart recorder.
  • Affordable, easy to install, simple to use
  • No calibrations to perform or methods to create
  • Program gives chromatogram, area, and retention times
  • Raw chromatography data is saved to disk every 0.001 seconds
  • All acquisition dialogs display a real-time raw signal and a filtered end-of-process signal
  • All sample data can be exported in ACSII (tab-delimited) format. Any ACSII (tab-delimited) data file can be imported for processing.
  • Teach your students how to derive fundamental chromatography calculations
  • For one instrument with one detector: Includes Instrument Interface hardware, software on CD and manual. (Requires 1 serial port on PC for 1 A/D device)
